a7n8x dx video tearing in dual ddr mode

hey guys just looking for tips or related problems.

i can run 200 dual mode and p95 no problem for 72 hours without errors.

but 3dmark gives me video tearing. but only in dual mode in single i can do 204 and oc the vid card without tearing

ive cooled the nb and the card very aggressively.

the agp is set to 66
8x is enable like it should be
agp voltage at default 1.5


just looking for any ideasor suggestions thanks

Same problems here bud, I can only run at 192 stable for video. can run at 198 stable for prime95. strange I actively cool my northbridge, and passively cool the south. Havent tried the single mode yet, i hear that works as i has for you. Sorry I cant help, just thought you might be relieved somewhat knowing you arent the only one having these problems. One tip Try some sort of cooling on the southbridge. Before I put the copper HS on the south I was only able to get 188 stable :\ After Im at 195, but since the agp tearing i can only go to 192. The §§§§ kicker is My old a7n8x Deluxe could do 211 stable fine, but it died...locked up. I tried cutting the L12 bridge, didnt help either...

i can p95 up to 204 in dual for 72 hours

in single mode i can go to 204 also but with no tearing, its just the dual modei get it.

i got active cooling on the sb .

its p95 stable and memtest stable.

ita almost as if the agp lock isnt working or its pumping too much voltage to the card when in dual mode.

THe card seems hotter when i run dual mode than in single, im trying to borrow some stuff to test the heat difference.

i think i solved this , im at least looking a whole lot better, i blasted a 80 mm fan onto the area in front of hte mem slots (toward the front of the case)


three full runs of 3dmark without tearing.


before i would get tearing early in the second run, and that was only using the first four tests
