Funny you two!!! You would have to change your's again in a few days anyway Preventer, your about on top of a couple people aslo, with no mud flaps on the back!!! If i remember right? Gotta keep and eye in the rear view mirror.

stats man is down

Shows 0.00's everywhere??

My 3.3 ghz celeron was down all day without me noticing. Ram was bad. Crucial ddr too, too late to get some, it's 11pm here. I've looked behind every desk here, and every drawer. Fkng sdram out the ass though.

If i remember Bestbuys has some crucial pc2100 256 for $35 after rebate tomorrow. $99.99 - $37.00 IR = $62.99 - $28.00 mail in rebate = $34.99

But anyway.........
Congrats for tomorrow Majormav, we should both bust 5k. And congrats to Preventer's 4k today!!!

Congrats man!
I just moved into 36th.
Hopefully next week when I upgrade my dually from 1600s to 2100s I'll see a nice pickup in folding power.

The 1800 tbreds are cheaper frozenphil, and will probably clock higher in the end. $67 shipped @ newegg. 1700's are even less, Multiplier unlocked if you have the board for it.

I upgraded my 1600's to 2000's a month ago, then got a couple of 1800tbreds that will do 1900 true mhz with the cheap SVC $4.99 heatsinks.

Just an option you might want to think about.

Tweaked! did the same thing.

Frozenphil, If I remember correctly, you're running the Iwill dual board, right? In that case, You're going to want chips that you can manually adjust the multi on. I'm not sure how hard it is to do on the 2000's or higher, but cutting the L3 bridges on the tbreds was really simple. I've got my Xp1800's running default with a 12.5 multi by just cutting one extra bridge. You're already able to run your fsb higher than us with the Msi board, but you'll need to concentrate on your multi's. The 1800's aren't bad clockers at all.:)

I have the MSI board Tweaked!, I can't believe you forgot! :( ;)
The only reason I'm getting the 2100 is because I already have one....and the one I'm getting is free. I'm building a computer for a guy and he's getting me a 2100 for my troubles. :D

Then the 2100's it is. The problem with them is that it wont give you the lower mult's unless you cut some bridges. I usually turn them into 1600's by default when changing.

Did you ever get your 1800 tbreds in Tweaked! mine are running great 162fsb, my Asus board is multiplier locked though, But i got it on a newegg refurb 5 months ago for $90's so i cant complain. Came with everything on the refurb, even the lan and usb 2.0 card which suprised me.

hehe. i passed Majormav on the previous update, then he passed me again on the 2nd update of the day on statsman. Im back to 13th even though my sig says 12th below. I hope he doesnt have some WU's queued somewhere!! hehe.

I used to love doing that on seti@home. Have a rig running for a month with about 200 WU's Queued, then drop the bomb. Soon as someone passed me and talked the bullshxt.

But congrats to both of us today on our 5k.!!!!!!!!:toast:

Yes, the Tbreds are in and running at 1800mhz (1799.5 in cpu-z) (guess I could finally update my sig too) I eventually found my major issue with installing them was that when the old xp1600 fried, I had to do a fresh install of w2k pro. So I did so with just the one xp1600 in, so windows only loaded the acpi driver for uni processor only. All I had to do was go into device manager and update that driver, which I finally figured out after two days of installing the chips, removing and redoing the L5 bridges, and reinstalling like 15 times.... Man I felt as big as an ant once I figured that out;)

Frozenphil, sorry man, there's another phil around here that has the Iwill board, musta got ya's confused, Won't happen again:D

Congrats on the 5k Tedinde, I'll get there some day;)

Even with these tbreds coming factory unlocked, I wasn't able to change the multi on my K7d, so I cut the 2nd L3 bridge to force the 12.5 multi. I'll probably go for a 13x multi when I grow enuf conzangos to chance the chips again. But as of right now, these newer tbreds are really running hot, and they need alot of voltage compared to what they're set at from factory. They were set to run at 1.5v, and to maintian stability at 1800, I've got them running at 1.65v. And I'm using the same coolermaster hcc-002's that I used on the xp1600's. The 1600's stayed at around 38c clocked at 12.5x144, but these tbreds are running at around 46-48c.

Glad someone else is finally finding that these Tbreds run alot hotter than the Pallies. Stable, but hotter :)

I still get a major feeling that the K7D Master reads from the CPU's internal diode...I'm 99% sure ;)

Ted, I don't want lower multi's...I want higher. :D

Then it's easier then for higher. No cutting, just unlock it.

I just Hooked the PS up and "blew" one bridge on my 1800tbred to get the mult up to 12.5. I dont like the high fsb on my server/workhorse rig

Tbred bridges

Thread where i got the balls enough to blow them

http://pub65.ezboard.com/fk7s5amotherboardforumfrm13.showMessage?topicID=35 .topic

What worked good was i used a Molex 3 to 4 pin fan adapter. Switched pulled the pins out of the 3 pin connector for some nice needle ends. A little flash and im @ 12.5 instead of 11.5. Which is good for my Locked board. 162fsb on a 1/4 pci board Is too much.

I should of blew the bridges to 13.5, but i already blew one that i needed. Ohh well.
