i remember something similar to this being released in a 6600GT variant by Gigabyte (i think...). the performance was a letdown. let's hope they do a better job with this card. interesting that it has an external power supply... that's kind of a turn off there...

i think waiting for a good SLI x16 mobo to be released would be best.
