Will Hyperthreading allow u to run 2 programs of Folding for more WUs.?

yes it will

you can run two instances as if it were two separate processors.

yep since windows sees the CPU as 2 different ones
you can select the affinity for each one

but I doubt it will be any faster than the non HT CPU

on my dual rig, assigning affinity makes no difference in speed on 2 instances of folding running.

I remember seeing some comparisons that someone ran using a Xeon with HT enabled. Apparently Folding really likes HT

yeah, i've heard that hyperthreading allows you to run 2 clients without either taking a preformance hit. still haven't seen any numbers though.

Id be interested in seeing some actual numbers on HT with F@H results.
Curious... I havent read up much on HT, but that at present is only an option on Intel correct?
Also, how would HT work on a Dual? Would the system effectively see 4 CPU's? Ah man.... hmm looks like Im gonna have to do some research!

a dual hyperthreading cpu machine would see 4 processors.
