I was impressed by this card. It does get hot and I think better cooling would give more oc. I don't have the money, though. I can only get 2400 at stock...


3472 3DMark 2005 with:


MSI X700Pro, 128MB GDDR3:
Engine clock: 470 Mhz
Memory clock: 553 Mhz (1.1Ghz)

Pentium D 820 @ 3,18Ghz
512Megs of crappy ram


EDIT: the screenie is'nt correct, I realoded ATI-tool's default settings after the 3D run, cause it was getting too hot. In the profile bar you can see the settings at which I runned the test.

ok, true, but i wish I could find X700 agp cards in places that are NOT FS/BB(too $$$) or newegg (no ship to canada)

Those are damn good scores. Which memory do you have?

I had the 2ns memory and could inch up to 530 but it got really hairy after that.

my GC20 only does 515 stock. I've just got it under water now so maybe some vmods when the semester finishes at the end of the month

yes it's painful as you're bumping me more spots down :slapass: :p:
