Slk800 & 8rda+

Say I was a Complete Idiot and put my SLK800 on my 8RDA+ the wrong way round Could that cause my Computer to shutdown and the Alarm to sound? Even though Temps were not out of the ordinary?

yeah, it could have only been halfway contacting the chip or possably break the chip in half.
