Here is a taste....single 7800GTX on AIR and what I have discovered is a DAMN GOOD heatsink. Plus, it allows for dual spacing installation on the DFI NF4 SLI-DR MB. Remember, this is a single card for testing. Second card is being prepared for individual testing now too. Won't be long until I put up some BIG SLI air cooled scores. :D

You have something wrong, that score is not good with 630 on GPU.
I reach 9750 with no voltmods and AIR on 2.7 venice and single channel.

3DMark always shows the geo delta...so 630-50=580 clock base.

Aww...what a crock! In SLI with these big clocks I am GDDR limited at 1350Mhz. I just ordered a couple of 100K/25 pots to do the VDDR mod. I can't seem to go any higher without more volts I guess. Stuck at 2.1v until the parts arrive and I can get them higher. I think I will go to 2.4-2.5v and see if I can get 1500-1600Mhz effective. That should allow for more performance.

Looks good so far. How did the other card do? There's a thread in the xtreme bios section about memtimings for this card (I think) that gives a nice boost in 05 and 03. May be worth it to look.

given the rate of CPU speed rise at the moment, you're probably right. However, if NV pull of the 80.xx drivers well enough to really make use of DC, maybe not. We'll soon see.

Unfortunately we can't get DC speeds up to SC speeds, and likely never will be able to.

yeah we will, i've already seen benches in the Overclocking forum of 3.4ghz or so on a dual core. I'm sure once DC fx comes along, it will match or exceed the current fx's mhz wise. DC will soon match SC mhz wise, although obviously never exceed them.

i have to agree there. GT1 will love the extra CPU power freed up for it, and the rest will like the extra vertex processing.

01 = gt1 or 3dm01?
for gt1; 999fps overall average? or just 999fps at anyone time. There's this one point in it where the framerate jumps massively, hits around 2300+fps on my comp. So i guess there's still room for improvement on it.

No test in 3D01 can peak above 999 from what I thought....meaning the average can't go higher. I have also seen GT1 go way above 2k.....which will help 03 surpass 01 scores.
