Going mATX what mobo?

whats the best mATX mobo out there right now?
i found that asus and gigabyte has a nfoorce 4 mobo no sli or so but pcie atlease!

so im heading matx so what mobo to choose?
i still want some oc options so it should not be totally worthless on that front!

another question about m-atx, can i use my standard psu or do i have to use the one that comes with the matx chassi?

You will need a micro-atx PSU, unless yours fits in the micro-atx chassis. (I highly doubt it will.)

ive been using the ecs rs480m for around 5 or 6 months. its an ati radeon xpress 200 board with ati southbridge. very stable board. never had a problem with it. now running a 3500 venice, 2x250g maxline 3 raid0, benq 1640 dvdr(same as plextor), 6800gt, wifi, 2x512nb pqi turbo tccd. overclocking is limited, vcore only to 1.45v, vdimm to 2.7v(overvolts to around 2.78v, good for tccd or tcc5). has multis. onboard sound(average), onboard x300 vid. there are some modded bioses around for higher vcore, vdimm to 2.9 or 3.0, extra mem timings, etc. been running in an x-qpack for 5 or 6 months, never had a single problem, usb works fine(a problem with a lot of boards using ati southbridge) u should be able to pick one up around $70 or so. good luck.

ps the x-qpack comes with a 420 volt psu that runs all that stuff, including an overclocked gt, no prob.

And from what I've seen the onboard GPU is really very good. Good enough for HTPC or gaming some not too heavy games @ 800x600.

I think a good opcion would be the "msi Rs480" i think it is, with Ati xpress 200 chipset.

on a side note wait 3-5 weeks to see if DFI/MSI have any nVIdia mATX boards coming out.. if not
get the RX480 MSI if you can get your hands on one.. they are kind of hard to come by....

how good is the psu in the x-qpak?
how is the msi board performance against nfoorce4?

how big is the Aspire X-QPACK inside? is there any chanse to fit in a x800gt with an ati silencer 4 and a slk948-u on the cpu?

Standard sized psu's fits that case if you bend it slightly and also remove the atapi unit. I use external atapi anyway so it doesn't really matter.

The 600W Powerstream is slightly bigger than standard actually.
