Not sure, I've heard september since the first concept of that case was posted after computex or whatever show this past spring. What the situation may be, it's making the me drool.

Sweet. I wonder how hard it would be to remove the top bit of overhang if you plan to keep it without the front cover on for easier drive access.

Looks to much like a subwoofer/speaker set to me... Would blend in with my stereo without difficulty. Though it does look roomy, so novemeber 5th venom says...

The thing I like about the original stacker is the height of the mb above the base. You could put a x3 radiator with fan and shroud and not cause a problem with a card in your bottom pci slot.
Unfortuntely, the s.o.b. weighs 38lbs empty. Looks like I'll have to start thinking more seriously about the new U2-UFO Opti 1203. Don't want the double width, but I don't have the tools or time to heavily mod a different aluminum case.
peace,

I can't believe people still buy ufo cases.
They are made with so poor quality :(
I have a ufo case I bought for 350 and used for 2 days.
I'd get lian li if I were you.

I usually look no where else other than Lian Li, but that case looks/sounds a REAL nice case! I like the idea of the multiple mounting positions for the PSU, and the collosal 9 120mm Fans! It looks like it supports all the ATX and BTX formats too, which i was looking for so i don't waste money on a ATX case, only to have BTX come along a few months down the line and render my case useless! I think CM are onto a winner. I think im gonna go this route. Yup, thats my next case. Does anyone know if the Lian Li V series supports the upcoming BTX formats? Does anyone know if the upcoming BTX PSU's will use the same dimensions as the current ATX ones (Will BTX PSU's fit in ATX PSU cages?).

I never saw one myself, but you the first one I hear complaining about an UFO case.
November so CM told me. I'm debating of whether get this case or the Gigabyte 3D Aurora. :dunno:

I don't think there is a BTX PSU specification yet. I'm pretty sure they're going to run off the new revision for the ATX. I base that on info at formfactor.org and a few other places... so far I havn't found any whitepapers on anything beyond the latest ATX PSU.

- This case rocks feature wise. If it weren't so ugly... (That's my opinion, nevertheless we should wait and see some better pics of the black version).
- The UFO is a useless beast. I assume carrying it to a Lanparty is a torture.

I like the Lian Lis, but there aren't any of them that have room for a large radiator without some serious modifications or giving up the majority of the drive bays.

Why would it be any more torturous than most cases? It's only 15 lbs, which is lighter than just about any full tower out there. The dimensions are larger, but if you are inventive enough to modify a case enough to get all the crap we want in them, then I'm sure you can figure out how to double up a case carry strap for an 18" cube, heh.

Well, I think this case looks superb! Is it only me who think lian-li cases look awful?

So maybe it doesn't weight much, but the piercing gazes of your fellow gamers at the lan maybe rather disturbing, when the managers will be forced to allot you and your case room enough for 2 cases & monitors. :D

The case costs an arm and a leg, but if your father fas the money...
The Stacker costs a lot less more and yileds a much better value for the money (well, atleast performance-wise).
HOWEVER, if you (your father) do have the money, go with the V2000.
It's astonishing and I must admit it has very, very sleek looks.
