Even after OVP modding if I try say 1.65v or higher it still randomly black screens and I can't even get 600mhz still on water :stick: Have I been given the worse x800pro ever producted by mankind or am I doing something wrong? :stick:

EDIT:
Vgpu is drooping... A LOT. I was running ATI tool artifact tester and set vgpu to 1.635, after closing the window it went up to 1.648. :(

Run a high 5V rail, it helps.

I have the rails on my OCZ 520 watt @ 12.8/5.5/3.9 solid.

Same crap for me, except I maxed out at only 1.58v. Gave me a solid 660-670MHz though. My +5v rail was at 5.5v as well. These cards just don't like voltage much. I'd say a decent amount of X800's need subzero to really shine past 1.6v. Pro's especially because of the lower pipeline amount.

Well I have a DI unit coming from good ol kah-nah-duh so cold here we come :D I realized that none of the corners of the core were making contact when I took off waterblock to put on ram sinks. Remounted with much better springs.

That might have something to do with it ;)

Hope the cards ok.
