Are there any tips/tricks to getting a decent Car High run? I'm sat ~ 136 with an X800XT PE @ 585/630, Dothan @ 2.5 (252*10 2,2,2,5 PAT) which seems a little low compared to some of the other runs out there...
Cheers
136 is very low!

You need to run win2k, fresh install, multi-proc, fast write=off etc.
But most of all, you need that CPU to run faster!
Oh, and leave the Ballistix alone and run the BH5 1/1...

Doesnt matter what OS etc, its still never over ~ 140. Hell can get higher with the 9500 than the X800 atm.
Yip, run BH for benching 250+ Ballistix cant compete at those speeds

You're fine dude. First off, X800's are weak at CH, weaker than 9500's, 9700's and 9800's, by about 4 FPS. Second, 2520MHz is a pretty low speed. Make sure you've got the MPS Uniprocessor tweak running. Probably can hit 140 FPS in that test max I'm guessing. Made it to 147 myself at a flat 2.6ghz.

I wouldn't say the speed gap is quite that big...it's more like 2540=27xx A64 in 3DMark2001...400mhz gap in SuperPI...Dothans aren't very strong at CH, their forte is LL...

136 sounds right. I get almost 140fps back on my 2.6GHz winny

Cool cheers guys, Gautam noticed the same, the A64 seems a tad stronger in CH, even with lower card clocks. Guess its time to search for a chip which runs faster than 2.55ghz...
34k still isnt a bad run with only 2.55ghz cpu and non-modded X800XTPE.... :stick: :stick:
