It says on the box SLI Ready so hopefully that's true.... that would be 4 gpu's!!

it is sli but internal the card uses the bridge internally to connect both cards so you can use just one....
2000th video cards my bet for the price is 1000+$

Great card. Any chance they will have a GTX version of it? I also wonder what the pricing would be on a card like this.

I think that they should give you an option to run it off internal power.
Maybe you can disconnect the external power lead from the 6-Pin PCI-E plug and plug the one in from your PSU. No different from 2x 7800GT's as far as power requirement's go.

:slobber: looks like a killer card!!
But, I don't think the previous dual 6800GT was capable of SLI, did they do something different now or am I just confused now?

I'm pretty sure there are either already drivers out OR they may make drivers where you can run SLi without the bridge. Either that or a mobo company, i cant remember exactly.

80 series of Forceware works without the SLI bridge. It also permits the use of 2 diffrent brands of graphic cards, cards with diffrent clocks and no SLI conector on their PCB.
This card should be usable with the nF4 SLIX16 chipset as each of the 7800GT Dual will have a full PCIE 16x slot. Can you say no more competitive benchmarking ... just plug'n frag with 2 * 2 * 7800GT.

that 512MB has to be split up between the cores right? so it's only 256MB per core

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, that box, says SLI Compatible.....
2 dual core cards..... whoa..... :)
How I can see in the last picture of the first post they have used a Mobile-CPU with the Yonah-Core to test the video card. Is the Mobile-CPU with a Yonah-Core just available? Where I can buy one? :slobber: :slobber: :slobber:

But it's a sign that "Yonah"-CPUs are available. :slobber: But where they are available? That's my main question.

Hmmmmmm... It says SLI Ready on the box having 4 GPU's with 1GB of Video Ram would be intresting. Cause there is 256 for each GPU right?

Maybe you ca use it with that new mb with 2x16 and 2x8 pci-e, then you can have yourself a 8 gpu monster :D
