I'm currently trying to get a decent farm up and going, should be 2-3 connections with 5-7 rigs, 4 on the same connection.

I only have my main system up and going at the moment so bear with me!

I really like this project.

Athlon XP 1600+
512mb PC-3200
400w PSU
20gb HDD
Voodoo 5 5500

Im just using VMware workstation.

Way to go scribble88 :toast: That small farm you were talking about is multiplying like rabbits :) I had small hickup my cable modem bit the dust, back up today. Will be down to 1 rig for a week while on vacation.I leave watercooled rig on 24/7 but while on vacation i will have to turn off.

Tempted to hook up another virtual PC, gained ~ 4k a day + adding another, would a single connection be ok with 4 instances running?

Sweet :D Will drop another 512mb into the Dothan and get it Dual Diming too :D {itty this crappy modem keeps dying with the throughput of packets tho :(

It could be a bit while untill I manage to scrounge up some money for a new hard drive.

do you have any probs running that many? ive just added 4 vms to my dx and if the router survives ill try another 4 in a couple of days. hopefully when be pull their fingers out and get my connection sorted i should be able to put more on.

How are you getting on with this ? Would a smaller drive (6gb) help at all ? If so I can have a look , dont know how reliable it would be but it cant hurt.

I found a very good deal on a slightly used 40gb hard drive today. Thanks for the offer though!
