I want a heatsink I can throw on my DFI NF4 without having to pull my insulation off and install the retention bracket. Are there any that just bolt on with rods, nuts, and springs?

Um, would Swiftech MCX-6400V perhaps be what you're after?

both the big typhoon and the swifie mcx6400V will need longer bolts , since dfi's retention frame isnt nf4 normal spec. I cant say anything about the big typhoon but i loved my mcx6400 while i had it. Its running in a friend's pc on a topless winnie and with a panaflo silent 92mm fan the load at 1.55V is around 42 C , which isnt bad considering you cannot hear the fan at all .
you can just relace the stock screws with those that come with the fan....and use the standoffs to screw em down to the HS....or wingnuts like UnG does....its a great cooler

Or just get a steel A64 backplate. Problem to mounting the BT to plasic is that when the sink has to come off, the plate falls behind the mobo tray... Best way is UNGs, 2 or so inch machine screws, springs and nuts.
