Hi all! im new here, and just recently got into high performance PC's. I had all the components for my system and i needed a case, so i ordered this one
http://www.xoxide.com/xwu.html

i have 2 fans set in the front right now, the one on the side, and the one in the back. i have ordered a Kingwin Arctic Liquid Cooler kit(im new to liquid cooling also, and this kit looked like it got some good reviews so im giving it a shot.) but my problem is that this case i have now is small, and the air does not flow well at all. currently i have the two 3.5" drive covers off just to let air in. i do not have any overclocking on right now, because i am worried about heat.

so, i guess what im asking here is can i moddify this case to work well? or should i just go and buy a better case? if so, can anyone suggest a better case for under $100?

thanks
Brian

That case is good enough for airflow, but if you want to stick water cooling in as well, you probably want more. A 120mm blowhole on the top would be good for your radiator (if you have a 120mm rad). :)

add a blow hole to the top of the case and one in the front if possible,

will do! i put the liquid cooling in, and let me just say, the kit i got sucks. so im going all air cooling from now on(at least till i get the know how to build my own, good, liquid cooling kit). so im gonna sit back and mod this case. thanks for the help.

That case isnt sturdy enough. Ive had a few for people and I can bend it in my hands. Your gonna have a bit of a tad of a hard time modding it I think.

On the other hand, cutting thin metal will be easier (maybe)...

I have one of these cases that I am using to build a first (good) computer for a friend. For the price it is not a bad case but the first thing I did when I got it was cut out the fan grills. The resion that I did this was they are right up aganst the fans and have very small round holes for air flow :( . I made good clean cuts and put wire ring fan grils and it looks like they should be there. With doing this it much inproves the air flow and reduces noise from the fans. After making these few adjustments it is the best case that I have found in its price range. ;)
O and by the way this case looks great with the lights in the frount.
Also the metal is not very thick which makes it nice and light and as long as you don't throw it around to much it should hold up fine.
