okay, as of late, my internet, which is road runner cable broadband, has been acting wierd. like, it will quickly disconnect and reconnect, and it's pissing me off because, when i try to play games, i get disconnected from the server. i just did a fresh install of windows yesterday, and it is still doing it. Any suggestions/solutions?

and getting disconnected from WoW every hour is pissing me off, cuz i know sooner or later, ima be doing a quest with some ppl that takes 2 - 3 hours

This probably wont help but for a couple weeks I was having a problem where my cable modem would disconnect and reconnect every half an hour or so. I couldnt figure out the problem till I noticed the splitter behind my couch somehow worked itself loose. I'd definately check everything on your end and just give things a once over. We ended up calling up the cable company to tell them to cancel our service call. :)
