Today I had fun benching with 3D Marks proggies, temp is around 19C right now in my room, that's good.

System:

- DFI UT NF4 SLI-DR of course, 510-2FIX MOD BIOS
- Venice 3000+ ~1.63v, LBBLE 0520 APMW, Tt Venus 12 Cooler
- OCZ PC3200 Rev.2, TCC5 at ~ 2.92v + 60mm fan
- OCZ PowerStream 520W 3.3v@3.41 5v@5.11 12v@12.40v
- Evga NV 6600GT, stock cooling

Here's a 3D03:

And suicide screenie:

Is that good for 6600GT? In my opinion Evga has a weak 6600GT, that's the highest benchable without artifacts, btw, this is my first 10K in 3D03 :woot:

That's not too shabby. The drivers are getting better, a long time I benched my 6600GT at 645/1180 and it only got 200 points more than your card, due to it's early driver revision !

you compare a 6800LE to a 6600GT? :slap:

nice scores mate

Almost same score on air but with old drivers.

Thanks for replies, the problem is that if I try to clock card higher it wont because I think it needs more power + can't rise\mod gpu vcore because 1.4v is the limit in the cards BIOS. maybe different vendor has bios with higher voltages that would work with this Evga. Most, if not all 6600GTs don't have a molex power connector. Maybe there's a mod to add your own molex connector, will try to search.

not bad...i noticed we have about the same systems also. the highest i got in 08 was something like 9963, that was before i worked getting my CPU speed up more. 580/1150 isn't too bad either. my old evga 6600gt benched about 580/1200+ on air...

poor card died running stock clocks. i have no idea what the new one will do.

what driver set did you use?

drivers were 78.01, that was Win XP SP2 Pro. Right now I'll try to mod the BIOS

gorget mod bios the volts table is up to 1.4v for all so forget about softmod there is a hardmod pencil trick or with some soldering i couldt do it cuz i dont have a voltimeter :(

Yup, no way to mod any BIOS from most of the vendors, I'll do pencil mod when I'll get multimeter to measure volts. Probably this weekend.

Not far from mine results.
Leadtek 6600GT Xtreme @596/1267(no artifacts) stock volts.
CPU @2636Mhz.

I may try newer drivers as well. :)

@BioPC

Your card is amazing, do you have any additional cooling on graphic's ram? My graphic's ram goes only up to ~1150Mhz if anything higher, then PC will freeze in 3d benchies or games. Also nicely clocked core. btw push your winnie higher if you can to bring up 3d score, adding voltage bump won't hurt

Thanks!. I installed a Zalman VF700-Cu. I was dissapointed with the stock cooler , since temps were max 80C
Now my temps are 33-60C with highest OC.
The reason of my higher mem clocks is that mem IC's are accesed @1,6ns (~1250Mhz).
My "old" Winnie craps out @+2655Mhz, whatever volts i give to it. Maybe i try a better cooling solution.

I swapped out my stock cooler for a CPU HSF and added another fan directly behind the GPU area on the opposite side of the card which gave me maybe 5MHz more core but 50MHz more on the ram. It seems much cooler with and extra fan blowing directly on the PCB, now the ram isn't heatsoaking everything on that end of the video card. 1,350 ram (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4120904)

Wow Poki! pretty nice scores you got there! Is your card voltmodded? Core @630Mhz is amazing too! :slobber:

Yes it's alittle over 1.7v in 3d, she only peaks at 49c though. Something i always do with any chip that has raised print is lap the top smooth...
I've been doing that since the first socket 462 chips which had very thick printing in them and use high contact pressure. I wish i had the 6600gt that LardArse has/had that did nearly 700 core on air, that's friggin impressive IMO!

ya i hit the wall about the same as you poke and thats 630/1350 for stable clocks
i can bench 670/1375 tho and get good scores but only in 3d 2001 in 2003 i can only run 640mhz core speed. its wierd at that high speed some scenes are perfect with no artifact then a certian scene will be full with artifacts or be very green lol anyways shamino getting 700 core speeds is great but i might be able to match it with even more volts i think i run about 1.7 but i dont want to blow this card up.
im on regular water cooling btw

btw does lapping the actual core really help it seems like it would make it more uneven because of its size

2003

i really think i can increase my 2003 score btw

hey anyone know of the v-mem mod to this card i just remembered i only have the core moded and can probably get more from the memory with a mod 670/1400+ would help improve my 2001 score!!

Your 2001 looks good for you clocks, try the 71.89 driver for 2001 if you want to get a higher car low. For 3d benching i just use an old 30gb EIDE drive that has some bad sectors... I have several partions on it with different OS/DX/driver configs. Saves me tears if my 24/7 raid array gets a partition table error and hoses everything from a ragged edge overclock.

I also got a 660GT but actually i never overclocked it or benched it till its limit.
Now i can get my core up to 580 but my memory goes beyond 1320mhz, still no artifacts spotted. This is on regalur stock cooling. What you guys think up it to the max? :D

2Bad my core wont go so high otherwise i might have the best 6600GT?
