What is the Hydro Wave Bearing?

I was looking around for 120mm fans, and right now I'm thinking that the Panaflo is. I saw that there is somthing called the Hydro Wave, and thats its bearing type...The thing I'm wondering what is it in general, and how dose it work?

Its a frictionless liquid cushioned bearing (no solid part contact), that reduces noise dramatically.
