anything i can do to get past login screen if i dont have the pw? im on a :eek: Dell :eek: until i get fixed :slapass:

The admin password might be blank, or you can download a linux boot diskette that edits the registry and changes the aministrator password and hash...you can google it, I can't find the link for it.

if you have another account on the computer that you can access, even a guest account i can get you password for you if its not a huge word with lots of numbers PM me if you need the help

meh, you could always Ctrl-Alt-Del x 2 and try Administrator the pw = password. I ono, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, I had to set it up on my P4 machine.... it didnt work the first go around. but now it does. you can try Ugly n grey's way, but seems to be a little extreme... but meh, try what you will.

haha, this happened to my mom...she forgot her own password. so i did what i felt was needed on her pc anyways: fresh reformat and OS install :thumbsup:

booted into safemode as administrator and changed pw. dunno why it didnt let me log in as admin in regular mode :confused:
oh well.. im back! :D
