Hi there and thanks for reading :fact:
I purchased some things about 2 weeks ago at an online store, such as Venice 3000+, DFI NF4 Ultra-D mobo, TT Big Typhoon, XFX 7800GT...
Now they tell me that they have received everything but the XFX :nono: and they think it will be hard to get it :slapass: They are asking me to change the XFX for another manufacturer, such as AOpen, ASUS, Club3D, Sparkle and Leadtek.

If i they can't get the XFX for me, which one should i buy ??

Remember that XFX is clocked at 450/1050Mhz :woot: while the rest are 400/1000MHz just as nVidia reference card.

Any special reason why you recomend Club3D ?

Also, I think i heard Leadtek was one of the best nVidia manufacturers. Is that true?

[EDIT]
Well i have been looking around the inet and i found Leadtek has an Extreme edition which runs at 450/1050MHz, just like the XFX. The problem is that if i want the Leadtek they probably send me the normal version (400/1000).

All the rest are 400/1000, and the ASUS has great looks :slobber:

eVGA...
Lifetime Warranty as long as there is no physical damage to the card. Meaning you can change the stock cooler and overclock the card and it's covered.

They have the step up program. Where you can trade your 7800 GT in up to 90 days and pay the difference for the 7800 GTX if you choose to.

From what I hear their customer service is second to none.

*EDIT*
Just noticed eVGA isn't a choice. That being said I would say either the Leadtek Extreme or the ASUS 7800 GTX TOP.

At this popint because they all wanted to get it out the door, so they went witht the reference design. We'll start to see proprietary designs in time.

At this point though it's best to buy the one with the better warranty.

Well, i told the guy to keep asking for the XFX and he finally got it yesterday, so i will have the XFX next tuesday.

If i wanted the XFX it was for the bundle it comes with, for his clocks and for his guarantie.

Thank you all for your replies. Bye

[EDIT] I'll have to edit my sig :fact:

Same happened to me with Gainward (chose that because it was the cheapest, 333€) and they say it's in "unknown availability" now. Other choices are Gigabyte and Asus, both reference ones (I've seen Asus has released one with a different cooler).

Which one? I'm thinking Asus, as the bundle is better and the price is 25€ less but...
