I was reading the reviews here after checking out cases at the local computer flee market. Saw both CM Stacker and TT Armor.

Both are huge but were probably the only good looking server cases I've found. My big question:

Can both or either be modded to flip the ATX MB around like the Lian Li and new Silverstone case? EG: CPU on the bottom, PCI cards facing up the right way?

I need something to take my HD raid and room for water cooler upgrade.

Where would the PSU go? Bottom? Any advice would be appreciated.

if you want that why you dont go lian li 2000 is massive and it will fit easily any WC you want to use and hdd raid that is for sure....

or the pc7077

I didn't want to got TOO massive! :D

Trying to keep everything as compact as possible without bunching all the peripherals into a small midtower case. The reason for flipping the MB is for natural air convention to help cool the system down with as minimal fans (noise) as possible.

I like the TT Armour better than the CM Stacker. It's really just a matter of opinion. I just think the TT looks nicer... :)

The stacker is a beast! :slobber: ATX or BTX is nice, and like it just so much more sexier looking, steel and stuff. The TT Armor has those flappy looking door things on the front, not very professional looking. Here's some pictures of my stacker w/ various types of cooling;

yea i did all the work myself.I added a side window and a top window. I have 2 120mm exhaust fans(1 200cfm max in the rear, and a clear antec 120mm in the top) as well as 2 sunon 80mm in the bottom rear. I have 1 120mm clear antec and 2 coolermaster 120mm in the front for intake. I also have the crossflow fan installed. This allows me to have extremely good air flow throughout the case. The paint I applied is by House of Colors. It has 2 basecoats of Meteor Maroon. 3 coats of Brandywine Candy candycoat, and then 3 coats of Clearcoat.Also the silver top piece was painted with a high content metallic silver and clearcoted as well. The specs of the equipment is in my signature. thanks for the feedback

I also was wondering which of these I'd buy, and decided to go for TT Armor. And that was cuz of the amazing deal, 117€ vs CMS stacker for about 140€ and since I like the looks of the Armor a lot more, in fact I find it some of the most beautiful comp case. Haven't got any complaints at all, glad I made this choise.

Hmm... my avatar needs to be updated, added 2 case fans since, 1x120mm and 1x 80mm for gfx card. I think 9 case fans should be enough for now ^^

Cronic,

PIMP system... Love the paintjob!

RPGWizard,

Sweet system. I think you need to get at least a 7800 GT in there! :D
