Where did you get that date from? If that's true then we should be seeing some reviews pretty soon I would think.

unless they plan to release teh reviews the day it hits the shelves, to casue a mass uproar...imagine...readaing the first review, and being able to go out and buy it...it's what you all want, is it not?

Where did i get that date?

dual slot cooling :S

I dunno why people dont like it.... I'd say its a hellova lot better than Nvidias crap excuse for cooling... a lot easier when using dual cards especially, this way... besides.. I have never seen anyone utilizing the slot right next to the GPU anyways..... ;)

if you use just 1 video car ok i really dont care but if you use 2 there is a mejor problem...

besides the new cooler desing of nvidia for the 7800gtx is better than any other cooler out there and is single slot solution

Yeah that would be nice to get the card the same day but, considering ATi's track record there I'm not holding my breath.

Welcome to last week? Sorry you went over my head there.

SRY.

earlier digitimes posted that ATI announced ship dates for chipsets. based on that info, october is pretty obvious. i was just being cheeky. :D

mm... lets see you cover up the slot directly below it... and not throttle... doubt it will happen... :p:

Yup. That's the card I'm waiting for.

I just sold my x800xt pe. Mainly because it was agp and I want to make the move to PCI.

Patience :)

your gonna need a new mobo to go pci-e. might wanna get an x850xt pci-e for cheap or pay up for a 7800gtx. r520 benchies are out and its slower than 7800gtx :(

Everyone should read the following information before deciding to give any merit to the Hardware Analysis article: Motivation behind the 'article' (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=1045985#post1045985)

I'll wait for [H]ard, Anandtech, Tech Report, etc... before I give my opinion on performance.

This story could just as easily be made up (just read the review in question, this very "idea" came from Sasser himself).
