as per title really, im looking at getting a phase unit soon.

not really worried about noise, but would like to know which is louder and which runs cooler.

Temp wise, they both run very close to each other in actual performance. The readout is colder on the Mch2GT, but the Vapo is closer to the true reading so they're not far off each other.

The Mach2GT can be run quieter than the Vapo.

The stock mount on the Vapo is, IMHO, a better mount, but neither is particularly difficult.

The one thing that makes me recommend the Mach2GT over the VapoLS is that fact that the compressor is larger. You have options to upgrade the unit at a later time, whereas the Vapo is pretty close to as good as it get's barring some very fancy tuning.

I hope that helps, but really I don't think you'll be all that sorry about either one.

If you are open to the suggestion, Chilly1's custom units are pretty amazing, and if you PM him, I'm sure he'd be able to talk you through some more options in one of his units. He make's 'em the way they SHOULD have been made :D

I think that if you tell him what kind of budget you have, and what you're after, you might be surprised at what he can do for you.

Just PM him the question, I'm sure he'd be happy to help if he can. :)

It may be me - but i would think the prommy had less headroom than the vapo, as the compressor in the prommy is designed for r134a, and the one in the Vapo for r507, which it is using.
On the other hand it makes little difference, as there arent really any widely avaliable gasses that are usable for singlestage that i know of. So i would go for Lightspeed, primarily becuase it looks nice to begin with, and is a tad cheaper than a GT with LianLi kit.
If you are moddding the GT to r507 it might be better, though.

But chilly is the real thing :p:
