ok were making progress here but slowly....ive hit every single problem on the 43 page long bug thread for this board but the end is in sight....hopefully thiss will be my last problem *knocks on wood*

when i try to boot my DFI from a fresh cmos clear in dual channel it works fine.....but when i restart or shutdown and then boot again it gives me the beep code for bad ram and hangs on 3 leds.....if i shutdown from there and try again it does the same thing.....if i try to boot with one stick in the orange slot it works fine....from there if i reset CMOS it will boot dual channel....and the story starts again

any help on what im doing wrong here or what i should do?

What Bios are you using, also you can use the FAQ-DFI link in my sign.

I found hanging on 3 leds was due to my video card not seated perfectly

might check that

Renew your bios could help. Or maybe the pair of ram aren't the same row.I had the same problem with my transcend TCCC as well. One marks 525,while the other is 528
