That's one of the greatest things of the moment if it's really a 16 pipe card. If someone confirms it I'll buy 2 right now.
Update: I can't find any other stores that happen to have that exact model number amd I can't find it on XFXs website.
This is not possible. The PCIe 6800 is the NV41 architecture, with no unlockable pipes and with removed 2D video features. Only the AGP 6800 is NV40 with unlockable pipes and full 2D video features (but lacking the new video options running on the 3D engine).
Surely one of the many typos on the egg lately.

That's the same page I linked to. I don't understand what's going on.
If anybody gets this card please report what architecture the drivers think this is, NV40 or NV41.
If the stats here are true then I would assume this is actually an underclocked, possibly after failing at native frequency, 6800GT.

The latest GeForce 6800 PCIe cards now has a 0.11 micron NV42 native PCIe GPU.

It would be cheaper to get one 7800 GT. According to X-bit it is able to keep up with a 6800 Ultra SLi setup most of the time.

That's the wrong class. I'm never going to buy a low end high end card.
I just looked for a random bench:

The 7800 gt looks very boring. I just read though the rest of the review and the 7800 gt gets smashed by the 6800 sli combo. What review did you read?

I have no idea what you are trying to say.

It's a cut down version of the GTX, you can't mod more pipes onto it. I only buy the highest end things of a particular class. I'm not going to waste money on high stock clock speeds though, just things that can't be added through mods.

I still don't get it. You want to buy a crippled 6800 GT but you won't buy a 7800 GT because it isn't top of the line?

It's not crippled. Not a single thing is missing.

Can anyone confirm that this card has all 16 pipes unlocked?

Newegg says it's only 12 pipes so I'm not sure what else you need.

Yep, newegg has updated the listing after I emailed them. XFX lied to me about the cards.
They are just 12x5 cards.
