seal string

anyone know of a cheap stockist in the u.k? or an alternative to the official stuff?
has anyone tried using a bit of neoprene in between the evap head and the mounting bracket on a mach 2? instead of the seal string to make it easier to remove and remount the evap head for changing over diffrent cpus's and such. if so what thickness sheets would be needed? gonna leave the rest of it with seal string on just want a easier solution and cheaper then seal string for mounting the head
