I have around 400 dollars to spend and was wondering if it was possible to buy a pre-built or have someone build me a phase change unit for my 7800gtx? I am not good at doing cutting and stuff so I am hoping for one that is pretty much condensation proof and then turn on kinda thing. I am also thinking about TEC's but am trying to see my options,
Where are you from?
And i would go with phase change instead of tecs :)
Because if you want to go quite cold you'd have to have a high wattage tec and an expensive power supply, and in the end it'll be easier just to buy a PhCh unit.

Best thing you could do to keep it cheap(ish) is to find an old VapoPE and modify the mount to fit the 7800.
I don't know if you can get 'em cheap where you are, but they're not quite powerful enough for heavy condensation, and you can program the control system to idle at higher temps to help fight the condensation issue.
I still wouldn't recommend it for 24/7(I don't recommend TEC for 24/7 either cos if you leave it idle, teh card can get cold enough to condense water) but it's easier to manage.
I ran the X800 in the scores in my sig with one of my PE's and it was great. Cold enough to clock it well, and warm enough under load to never worry about condensation while benching.

pic is from vapo se mounted on a 6800u.
Evap is the old one from se, pe and xe with insulation around it.

I've got a unit i built that has a micro chilly1 spiral block on it. I haven't used it in a while. I could send it with a power on/off switch.

I live in Muskogee, OKlahoma lol. I have thought about it and decided that I would be fine with having to do condensation proofing so now I am just looking at the lowest temps for the money!

Sweet. What's the spec on that bad boy?
I had a tough time with my GPU freezer keeping condensation to a minimum, part of why I'm going back to the Vapo's for the easy benching, and get a second Dry Ice tube for the Hardcore stuff, at least when Crossfire finds it's way onto the shelves.
When you look at 'coldest for the money' I have a feeling that's what gclg is talking about. You should hit him up on that one before he decides to keep it :D
