"component "MSCHRT20.0CX" or one of its dependencies not corretly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

You dont need it at all, I have a Vapo standard & run it without the chill controll unit.

It gives you some control over starting temp, fan speed, etc. Not crucial really for day to day operation. Now, the reason software doesn't install is because you got screwy chill control most likely (won't recognize the usb device). You will need to RMA chill control. It is a known issue. (especially in LS)

Just wire the fan up to the psu 12v, so it gives best performance. Bit loud however but not to bad. If you like it quite just use 5v.

RMA it? im guessing since the chill control isn't working right now, everything is operating @ max speed right?

I have one with bad chill control. Chill control is on the way by next week. However, it surely doesn't sound like full speed panaflo M1A to me. (I have quite a few of those laying around)... more like 50-70% of full speed. But than I won't know for sure until new chill control arrives.
