I wouldn't pay $360 but that is definitely the sexiest keyboard ever made.

I want one of those laser based keyboards...it just projects a keyboard on your desk and you type away...not sure where those are at these days...

It's expensive but is a pretty unique item indeed. Either way is more than what i would pay for it. I will just add it to my list and wait...

I'd like to put my hands on one of those, damn they sweet, imagin what you could possibly do with it.

But i wouldn't use it all day, more like playing with it and showing to other people, modded PC for example ;)

man it would be amazing to have it display different keysets for different apps like photoshop, and it would be pretty cool if they support it well. I.E. change the image on the keys for games...

if it's supported well, it types nice, and its durable, then it would be completly worth the money to me.

what it needs is osme good software that automatically changes the key images based upon which program is active in the forefront at that point in time. If they can do that i'd pay $360 no prob.

That's the whole point of the keyboard, you can specify that when you run certain EXE's change the keys to w/e. I'm sure it will also come with preset configs so whenever you open up Quake or Photoshop the keys will automatically change. The keys can also change to almost any language so there's no need to have multiple keyboards for typing in various languages anymore.

I understand that's the concept, but you are running on assumptions which are the mutha of all f'ups.

They might be bastards and release the keyboard with an SDK, so you are screwed and have to program yourself. Another possibility is that the keyboard has some manual activation of the images on the keys rather than automatically picking up which program on your desktop is acitve or "highlighted".

Don't assume anything, especially in an unreleased product.

if it works properly out of the box, id pay for it. i just wonder how it will work in the BIOS and the boot-up

I'm sure the price could go down as OLED goes more mainstream.

looks like a very cool theory.

would be awesome to have one, seems so useful, especially for those who game, or photoshop, or video edit....if its implemented properly. If this was implemented properly I would love to get one, but I simply couldn't justify spending that much on 'just a keyboard'.

cool idea though, one I expect apple will (cough)'innovate'(cough) before too long, would certainly appeal to their core user base.
