My motherboard in my main PC died a few days ago. I aquired an 850mhz PIII, 192mb RAM, 30gb, etc... system from throwing a few parts together I had lying around. I installed XP Pro on the 30gb drive and got it all up and running. I then popped in my 120gb main hard drive as from my main PC hoping to get a few documents off of it because my main PC won't POST. Well, I was on a network and had my old "My Documents" folder set as private, do not share, etc, etc on the old hard drive. Everything on the hard drive was accessable through the network except for the My Documents folder. Well now in this other system, I can access everything on the hard drive except the "My Documents" folder. It says: E:\My Documents is not accessable, access is denied.
Aah! I need stuff off of it. How can I access this folder that was previously "Privatized, do not share with other users" in this different PC?
Sorry, I tried to explain it the best I could. I'm not the greatest writer so bear with me if it isn't very legible.
Thanks!
