Hi guys, I recently learned of this case and it looks to be a winner. I haven't seen any mentions of it yet so I thought I'd bring it up. I'd like to hear some comments from everyone here about the case design. Here's some relevant links:

A review that I didn't find very informative

Basically it's a smaller knockoff of the stacker. The front should be perfect for a Black Ice III with room for an optical drive. It's out now for all the people tired of waiting for the new stacker models. I'll probably wait a bit longer because the front page of Danger Den mentions that they'll soon be selling custom wood cases as well as modded stackers.

It does look like the stacker... just w/ a sidewindow... powerbuttons are totally in the wrong place... if your tower is on the ground.

And I've just ordered a Stacker... Still, I get to run 2 PSU's, and this doesn't look like it can... Should stop my voltages wandering and get me a higher clock

It's like a stacker only $50 (US) cheaper, the mobo is flipped over, and it's smaller. I agree with you eBoy0 that the power button is located in a poor location but since it's smaller it should be better suited to sitting on a desk.

I really like the flipped mobo like what we see in the Lian-Li V series. In other cases this allows for some interesting cooling setups and ducting. I think because the placement of the mobo near the top of this case that you won't get as effective cooling though. I'd also like to see a blow hole at the top of the case near the back like the Antec P180.

I really like the reduced size, that's the worst part about the stacker imo. I remember back in the day, I got the Supermicro SC-750a just like everyone else but in recent years there's little reason to have a full tower so I'm looking for something a bit more practical yet still roomy enough for decent water cooling.

I suppose I'm starting to sound like Reducto...Teensy Weency!

The flipped mobo is called BTX and the stacker can do the same. :) And the size is the reason people get the Stacker, it's a dream for watercooling.

I just got this case in for review, - it's mid tower...

review will be coming shortly - so far I pulled it out of the case and checked it out, looks like a nice case for the money, but it's no stacker ;)

Thanks for the info man, do you have any pictures of of a watercooled or WC/Pelt setup BTX style in the Stacker? I guess I haven't seen any.

I guess it's a largely personal preference but I desire a smaller case. The only reason I'm not using a WC microATX rig is there's no great mobo for that size. My old system is in a Lian-Li 3077 but it's too loud and the airflow in the back is bad.

Well i didn't do BTX but ATX is just the same but upside down :) and psu is on bottom.
Here's my waterchiller in action in a CM stacker, it's not neat yet or closed, but will be soon :p:
