I have 2x256mb Corsair Twinx 3200C2PT v4.2 and I'm having several problems with my IC7 Max3.

My processor is a Northwood 2.6 512Kb 800mhz @ 3.3 254mhz 5:4 so my ram is working at 203mhz 2.5-3-3-6

The problem is that I can't get more mhz from my rams, It boot's at 254 1:1 but it is impossible to get it stable at any voltage.

Is there any way I can get them to work at 1:1 stable? I know they work on a A64+NF4 system at 270+mhz.

Best Regards
MartO

maybe your processor is maxed out...

2.6@3.3ghz

try 260fsb and fsb:ram=5:4 and if your procesor is unstabile, 254fsb is your max...

Try to lose PAT

What is PAT?

Also I'll try to burn in my CPU and see if it works at 260mhz 5:4

Regards!

TCCD and TCC5 both suck on i875p. It's a known fact

there is no memory that can run on i875 and i865 chipset faster then 270-275fsb...i think it's the chipsets limit...

No it isn't, my i875P on my Max 3 will happily do 280+ with some mods.

wrong,

I had 2 of the ic7 max mobos,

Both of them ran 280+fsb 1:1
but they were not with tccd chips

256mb sticks, SC or DC can go over 280fsb 1:1, but i am talking about 512mb sticks...

not one 512mb memory stick could go over 275fsb on my mobo, and i tried hynix d43, infineon bt5, geil ultra-x (tccd), corsair 3200c2 rev4.1 (tccd), corsair 3200c2pro rev4.2 (tccd)...both SC and DC...

maybe on ic7max3 fsb goes higher, but is that 100% stabile...??

I've got some BH-5 512mb sticks that will run ~280 with plenty of volts.

Iam also talking about 512 config sticks.
PC 4400 ocz
hynix chips.
these did 280 1:1
and the pc 4800 i bough later on did 290 + 1:1
i then got to the limit of my chip.

I also had some bh5 that did 270 with lots of volts,
at 2 2 2 5

I got loads of Hynix D43 (2GB). It clocks really great on 875p, but performs bad compared to BH-5. 250MHz is slower in benches than 200MHz BH-5 I'm afraid. Both tests had almost identical CPU speeds, in fact, the BH-5 test had a slightly slower CPU clock. Still, if you want high FSB and low volts on 875p, D43 is the way to go. TCCD sucks on Intel period. With 2x512 D43 I can hit ~290 no problem. My BH-5 hits ~280 with lots of volts. Both 2x512. And the whole point of this post is, TCCD sucks on Intel terribly and go with D43 (if you don't wanna vmod your board) or if you do want to vmod your board, search the FS section for BH-5.

U took the words out of my mouth, nothing beats bh5 @ 2 2 2 5 :D

ah...

i'm from croatia and here we can't buy some very good memory sticks...:( there is no any...:(

corsair, ocz, pqi, adata, geil, super talent, twinmos...that's it...

mushkin, gskill, crucial... :nono: that's too bad...

anyway, i thought 275fsb on i875 and i865 chipset is max, but it seems otherwise...thnx guys for the info... :toast:

I think hipro5 hit over 300 on 875 ages ago.

Ive been past 300 fsb on 5:4
but at the time i had my ic7max 3 i never had any memory which could do 300 1:1
but i was was 284 1:1stable 24/7

I could bench : 290 ish 1:1

I'm running at 260mhz 5:4 @3.380mhz stable, so the problem is the memory or maybe the chipset cooling.

I'm aiming to do 254mhz 1:1 but with TCCD or TCC5 it seems to be impossible.TCCD sux on 875 plataforms...
