3.3ghz-3.7ghz on air if it is a Northwood as the pic shows.

EDIT: My mistake, I thought this Dell was a notebook.

If it is a northwood A probably 3.0-3.3ghz but without the PCI and AGP lock you are not gonna get very far probably.

I just realise it's a Northwood B because of the 133fsb. These don't overclock much better but I think you can do 3.0-3.2ghz on stock vcore without the locks.

well i found a clock gen for it.... but even at 2812 mhz the computer freezes seconds later

You are sure you have the right version? Maybe you should try setfsb or another tool, it just can't be true that it fails at 2812mhz because of hardware problems.

Or do you have SATA drives?

Well, has any one tried to run these card with the reference design bios? I might want to give it a try.

EDIT: WTF is this post doing here

I'm sure I didn't post it in this thread :stick:

It's on a Dell. They use a unique PLL, so no OC through windows or BIOS.

Can i have a SS of that P4 2.8@3.4 as you claim, but now you can't budge over 2.812.

Look on your mobo and take a pic of that PLL.

If you have a different PLL than that guide, here is a quote: "CPUCooL does not support the following PLL's because they do not have a System Management Bus connection or the FSB could not be set via System Management Bus. So there is and will be no program that supports these PLL's!!! There is absolutely no chance!"

Dells Do not have some sort of direct SMBus-FSB communication.
