Could you please downsize the AMD, NV, and XS one below to 1024x768, I'm a graphic noob :(
Well... Not being truely honest, I do wallpapers and other graphic stuff, but I've recently formatted and my backup drive bit the bullet... Second 7200 RPM maxtor in 6months..

Wow! Seems lots of people like that brushed metal look. Well, for you that don't know how try this and let's all make brushed metal backgrounds!
1. Choose a gradient. Play around as the effects you can create vary greatly.
2. Choose Filter..Noise..Add Noise. Amount: 10%, Distribution: Gaussian, Monochromatic.
3. Choose Filter..Blur..Motion Blur. Angle: 0, or whatever you like depending on which way you want the grain of the metal to run. Distance: About 30-35.
Have at 'er!

funny that whenever people learn some photoshop effects, it gets way overused. especially brushed aluminum, horizontal scan lines, and carbon fiber.

Here is a crude AMD 64 with Ati. I need to put some more effort into this.
