Does ANYONE make a Dual processor LGA775 board that accepts pentium D processors? I need dual core and dual processors.

Not possible with the P-D. Intel does not currently make dual socket capable dual core chips because of how they hacked the P-D together. They'll be coming out with one eventually though.

In the meantime, I believe you have to get an Opteron or make do with "only" 2 processors.

i thought i read somewhere that intel has a dual core dual processor w/ HT enabled.... or was i just dreaming of that ? now i cant remember....... lol

The 840EE has HT.

EDIT: I misread what you said. The xeons are going to be dual core with ht sometime soon.

Yes, actually it´s the only P-D with HT. But the price for this processor is not normal.

Imagine 2 x Pentium D on a motherboard !

They run HOT even with a zalman 7700cu...

Could a motherboard survive @ 2x dual core intel ? :stick:

Lol Motherboard makers would be moving vcore supplies out of case like the late model 3dfx cards.

This board exists, NAPA.

Its for Yonah and its variants. I don't know if any of the P-M processors will support 2 sockets, I kind of doubt it though. Probably you'll have to buy low power Xeons if you want 2x socket 480.
