Setup is in my sig. Currently at 4.1, 255fsb. vcore is at 1.6 and no matter how much voltage I out through it nothing works for stability(crashes in windows and reboots). Do you think my OCZ gold rev.2 4000 cant go past 255 stable? I though it could take a litlle more than that with water. 875P-T cant handle the the high fsb? Is upgrading to a 560 my only hope for 4.1+? Thoughts or suggestions are much appriciated:)

I would drop the divider down on the memory and see if that works first.

I would drop the divider down on the memory and see if that works first.Well that didn't work. Anything else to try? Really that this setup could handle more than 255 fsb.

Your mobo is undervolting under load heavily. Check your CPU voltage. This mobo is weak for overclocking the CPU without additional vmods.

need a vdroop ?
vdroop helped stabilize my 640 @ 4.2ghz (needed less volt : 1.4875)

I was hoping you guys wouldnt say that. Is this a hard thing to do? I have absolutely no skills with that. You think adding some more vcore would help?

Well it seems my ambients are the problem. I cranked up the a/c and got 20c for room temp. My 640 got to 4.2(didn't try any higher) and got my ultra to 474/1.25(didn't max out the memory) for a 80,000 aquamark score.

Is that on air cooling? my 640 runs 4.32 at 1.65Vcore and droop is not a problem.I tried the droop for the IC7 and it didnt work.Same with the Vdimm mod.Ambient 28-30C.

You'll get a better O/C by converting to MoBo's that support duel cores
Reason: Better CPU power regulation circuitry to support... of course - duel cores ! 4 phase circuitry is the norm and should be the minimum on duel core mobo as opposed to 3 phase for single core mobo's

REally? I got 5Ghz on water, plain water with this board. Runs at 4531 for 24/7 folding use.

RiceLover have you tried using clockgen? I found that I could not boot at anything past 269 FSB, but with clockgen, I could go higher.
