I doubt this is an official ATI-sanctioned card. Once in a while you have suffixes made up by vendors. This is just simply a GT, renamed for whatever marketing reasons Club 3D saw fit.

doesnt the normal x800gt hav ddr1 memory? The only thing this has over a normal x800gt is that256mb of 980mhz memory, so i guess it's just a club3d thing, as cybercat says.

Well the GT can come with 256MB of DDR3 running at 980MHz, but the 128MB model runs at 700. I honestly don't know what's different about this card.

The prize just dropped 100$ on a X800PRO here in Denmark today, so the new generation is here. And the prizes will drop futher when there's enough around.

And yes, they are just trying to throw the crippled cards on the market, with some fanzy marketing.
