ah, no, plz.. not another messenger... its hard enough to handle msn messenger, icq and maybe the yahoo messenger....

it hardly sux to have 4 messenger installed to communicate with friends, because everyone uses another one - or to use such a program like mirande etc...
what will come next? the firefox messenger? winamp messenger? arwww :F

I downloaded it and it looks pretty cool but the hard part will be getting my friends on it because they are fine with aim

Looks pretty slick, I love gmail's simplicity so im hoping they apply the same concept here.. Now the hard part, converting all my @hotmail.com friends over to Gmail and then to GTalk

Gmail invite is needed. Anyone have any extra invites? They used to give them away like hotcakes but I wasn't interested in some of the things I heard about the email setup regarding privacy.

Yeah, trillian is the bomb. Hope they can swallow up this one too. At least this might be a reason to have two (VOiP more robust than others no? I think AIM and so on has something). To the guys saying ICQ, yahoo, AIM... yeah dudes. Where you been? :D

msn is best IMO. it has cool neat features. aim is simple if all you want to do is straightforward chatting.

i'll give google a try
