yes I threw a few more machines into the fray. Actually, I have all but 9 nodes of my 50 cranking now for the time being. My student is busy doing some non high performance stuff (figuring out how to compile HPL, automatic new user process, etc), so there is low demand for the nodes for a little while now. I'm really hoping to get us at least into the top 500, if not the top 400 before I have to dial it back a bit :).

I also installed the windows client on a few of my GPU test rigs. I have several extra PCs in my office that I have just for the sake of having a machine for each of the most recent GPU for testing portability of certain types of software.

I looked at the D20L project and I am just a lot more comfortable contributing to this one for various reasons. I'd love it if we can use our recent progress to recruit a few more regular users.

Thanks, it's fun :). I will have to cut back soon as I think there will be an influx of new (primary) users soon. I would like to get our team well established into the top 400 before then, though, if I can manage it.

hmmm I just saw custom title thingy. somehow it seems vain to pick my own. Maybe "mad scientist" - what do you guys think would be good? :)
