i will go for the VX PC4000 , u can get warranty at 250Mhz , but the new gold BH5 is not , so if u are unlucky , u cant RMA the Gold

btw , there is no old-school BH5 now , all are UTT

The VX is UTT CH-5 chip , not UTT BH-5 , but my VX PC4000 is clocked very well , 260Mhz 3.5v stable

that's not that great - my old skools do that at 3.2V :P

and they are 150nm chips so they theoretically can take more voltage...

There are a couple threada here with many people's timings, do a search.

Here's mine, give em a try if you like, top speed of my set is 262Mhz.

Eldonko,

What is the VDIMM you were running to hit 262FSB?

I was able to hit around 255 but with 3.6V running with 2x512 of OCZ 3200 Gold BH-5 UTT. Now I am running 4x512 of 3200 OCZ Gold BH-5 UTT and and trying to bring the speeds up to where I was (250+). I also took my Mobo off the 5V rail since the temps were too excessive in the case. Now I am living in a much cooler environment with lower clocks, meh.

All hail the 3.3V rail, lol

3.6v = 262Mhz with the tightest timings possible. 3.4v for up to 256Mhz, that's what I run for 24/7 use.

Eldonko,

I sent you a PM on xtremesytems. If you could reply that would be great

You can use same timings as I do if you wish except that tref can also be 200Mhz 15.6 or 7.8 or even 3.9 whichever works for you. My kit is 3d benchable at 270 3.6V And I would not suggest running them 24/7 at more than 3.4-3.5V

Very nice, Gold BH is very good RAM and it's cheap. Is 265 the highest you can get a 32M to run? I can't get 1 Mhz past 262, the RAM stops scaling with voltage at 3.6v.

Haven't tried above 3.6V. I might get another 2-3Mhz with 3.7V-3.8V. The reason I am not running it >3.6V is because I have already killed 1 stick of mushkin bh5 not a long time ago. Don't want another death so soon :slapass:
