Im thinking of getting a new 3.2E Prescott 1MB L2 Cache. Should i upgrade from what i have now? I will overclock to how ever much my PC4000 ram will take me. I want to hit 4.0ghz or even brake it. Will it be worth it or no? Thnx for any input :D

you can get a dothan 740 and the ct-479 for around $250... pretty small price and that should hold you over for a while if you overclock to 2.4 or above.. since you already have some good memory you should be able to get a overclock 1:1, just drop the multi to 10 and work your way up to 240-270 fsb on air (2400-2700 mhz)

thats what i would reccomend you do if you are mostly a gamer, you will get the best performance out of that.. and its a lot cheaper than going amd and buying a motherboard and a processor

Does the ct-479 come with a heatsink and fan? Are they selling ct-479 on newegg?
