I've read the threads and can't seem to come to a conclusion on my own, so I figured I'd just outright ask.. what motherboard is better for the dothan, speed wise? Price doesn't matter at all, but I need an agp slot.

Is the P4c800-e really any better than the p4p? I recall the p4c800-e had vdroop issues, and I'd really like to avoid modding if I could (my modded p4c800-e ended up dying when I put a presscot in the socket).

I'm mainly looking for a gaming system to last me until the dual core dothans come out (as well as WGF compatible video cards) So basically for about 10 months or so. Dothan seems like a fast cheap alternative to the other guys, and I already have an x800xt on the way.

Thanks :)

If you need a AGP slot P4C800E-deluxe is your choise . You will find it for about U$180 .

If you need a PCI-e slot you have no choise , you have to use a P4GD1 .
