Hey guys, I just added an extra 2 sticks of 512MB onto my mobo to make a total of 2GB (4x512MB) of RAM. The sticks are all the same, PDP DDR2-700. The motherboard I'm using is an ASUS P5AD2-E Premium mobo. The RAM is not DOA, I tried each stick individually and they all work. When I go over 1.5GB of RAM, the BIOS screen freezes.

Any ideas? I already tried setting everything in my BIOS to default but I had no luck.

thanks

There is no option in the BIOS for that as far as I know. I can run 3 sticks in Dual Channel Asymetrical mode, but for some reason when I put the last stick in it freezes. It probably is a BIOS setting, I'm just not sure which one :P
