Ok guy's we got a problem..well..i have a problem...The 875p-t has a OVP on the DIMM slot's keeping me from running my booster and BH-6 (this is anoying)
We must find a way to disable the OVP or atleast losen it because the VDIMM mod is good to 3.6v but the booster cant give more then 3.1v...odd yes so what is our first step here???

Do you know what the Vdimm regulator is on the board?

You can´t use DDR Booster with this board because the board regulates DDR voltage from 5V rail. Your booster will eventually burn if you keep using it.

Solder 10k variable resistor between the spot and ground.
Lower resistance = higher vddr.

Lower the resistance slowly, because the board can feed vddr voltage up to 4.8V with this mod ;)

Are you sure that the booster doesn't work with boards which have Vdimm supplied from the 5v rail? I thought it was just boards which used some sort of switching regulator for the Vdimm supply (most of the boards which use a switching regulator are supplied from the 5v rail however, so that could be what you were talking about ;) )

Yea i know the Vdimm mod (remove R385 replace with trimmer) i was just wondering if we can remove the OVP alltogeather....that would make it must better for some of our DDR booster user's Im Vdimm moded so that doesnt bother me (perk's of being a Vmoder :D ) Just wanted to see if we could ditch the OVP,i have 2 of these mobo's and 2 booster's on hand to test with. :toast:

Glad I read this thread before I through in my booster and smoked it at 3.5v.

@the stilt do you have any more pictures of that mod?
