well, i got bored/experimentative and felt like pushing it cause quite frankly, i am starting to get ticked at all the venice raves and felt like giving the venice users something to think about :P
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=32900
its stable at 2.6, that was NOT a suicide dump, i ran like that for about 2 hours, sadly, no pi as i couldnt up the volts any higher (corecenter didnt agree with the overclock)
temperatures were under 50 idle (god i love cardboard ducts and desk fans :D )
didnt prime it as i knew it wasnt stable
currently sitting at a 100% stable 2.4ghz at 42ish degrees (i hate my temp sensor <_< ) its being cooled by a thermaltake silentboost K8 (why does everyone seem to hate Tt?)
comments, suggestions?

THats pretty good indeed, my last 3 chips did the same with teh box cooler and lower temps though so you may want to figure out some better cooling? Nice work though, do you have some benches?

mabye i should if your serious... but then again, 1.65 volts... lol thats pretty much the main thing me thinks
no money at all anyway so its not much i can do about it
system cost me 1300Cad in december so its not bad for the price i think :D

Welcome to XS :woot:
That´s a nice stepping but not the best. I have used 2800mhz on stock air chips.
BTW Thermaltake Silent Boost K8 is pretty nice, I use it for testing CPU's or for lanparties (this way I don´t have to move the watercooling setup)

no you did awesome there is question of that and you should be very proud. ANy 3dmarks and such?
i had 2700mhz stable with 1.55 volts and zalman 7000 with some more tweaks and volts(a8nslideluxe maxes out@1.55)i think i could get some better results!i'll try next winter, now ambient temp is too high for any bench:D

no benchmarks at all ATM, my room has been abnormally hot for a while and that may be part of it, when i feel up to it ill boot back up at 2.7 and up the volts for a few benchies (corecenter is fine with 2.7 but not 2.708 :S)
regardless, i should have them soon :D
and ive been a lurker for a while :P just regged recently though lol

Thread moved out of XOC section...
@0mega1
Next time, run some benches for us, please ;) Around here, seeing is believing, you know.... We like screenies of whatever you acheved. 2.4Ghz is not quite yet enough to be considered Xtreme; 2.7Ghz is a good start as long as it's at least all-benchmark stable; 3.0Ghz is where Xtreme starts :D
BTW, welcome to XS...

AMEN! My winnie 3000 did 2727 Mhz at 1.53v on air too (303 x 9) - thats not Xtreme enough to be in that forum. But it's a nice OC!
