Can't take screenshots of live streams?

This weird, but has anyone noticed that you can't take screenshots of live movies,steams, ect.. like say i was watching a winamp stream and hit printscreen and then go into paint and paste it into there, and i get a the still image w/ the winamp still playing.. it's weird maybe someone should try this... or tell me how to take screenies of things that are playing?

This is normal, and you need special programs to take a screenshot.
With my VIVO, I used the ATI Multimedia drivers to take screenshots. Thats how I get screenshots from my Xbox. You can also use it for videos.

You can also use FRAPS to take screenshots on videos.
Even tho the FPS dont show up on WinAmp, pressing F10 will give you a screenshot of the video.

Those are the methods I use, and the most stimple would be FRAPS.
Im sure there are other programs that can do the job, but I dont know any so you may have to google it :P
