I'm sure somethinig very close to this has been asked a million times (I've seen some of the threads already that are in my ballpark), but any help anyone can give me I sure would appreciate.
I trying to decide between the following as far as what memory will perform the best in a DFI nf4 Lanparty SLI board (these are all 512Mb sticks or dual packs of the aforementioned):
OCZ EL Gold VX PC4000 - Model #: OCZ500512ELGEVX / OCZ5001024ELDCGEVX-K
OCZ EL Gold VX PC3200 - Model #: OCZ4001024ELDCGEVX-K
OCZ Gold PC3200 - Model#: OCZ4001024ELDCGE-K
Mushkin Redline PC3200 - Model #: 991436
Mushkin Redline PC4000 - Model #: 991439
I think all of the above are based on Winbond chips? I know TCCD is all but long gone and I knew this one type of memory used to be made with them, but I have no idea now and Google doesn't seem to be much help since all the infomation I'm finding is so dated. Anyone know about these?:
Patriot PC3200 - Model #: PEP5123200+XBL
If I had to guess what's best I'd say the PC4000's of either OCZ or Mushikin unless the Patriot still is TCCD (long shot here I know). I'm trying not to push about $180 for 1G (of course less is always better). Thanks for any advice you can throw my way!
