Well , Abit does not support Pentium D officially in this board , but the 6xx series are supported and in my opinion they are the best Intel chips ( unless you are a heavy multi task user ) . They overclock like hell ( 4ghz on on a good air cooler or near 4.5Ghz on water is possible ) .

Intel 925xe chipset does not support dual cores
http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/925xe/
The 955x does , as you can see in the chart

BTW , nice clocks on the 6xx ;)

I know that i925xe isn't officially supporting P-D, but it's like when original Prescott was released, I read early report that then-current i865/i875 will not be compatible. Well, it's partially true, some isn't really capable and some are. Same for when first 6xx series CPU were originally released, Intel only shows i915/i925 chipsets support these CPUs, turned out, even i865/i875 supported it as well.
So I'm just hoping that i925xe will be just the same as that hehehe =).....
Thanks, the OC was done on air =)...benchmark stable ;)...
