View Full Version : Why Cant I OC More????

Help me guys. I am stuck with my oc. It wont stay stable on prime95 after 247fsb no matter what. And my pc does not post after 1.6v. But its not getting hot the load temp is 44c. I dont know what to do. Please help!!!

did you try running the RAM with a divider just to make sure it is the CPU holding you back.

In my experiences:
The only way to get a P4 to run with a higher voltage that 1.6 volts is to do a volt mod on the board *except for the EE's*

I tried running the ram with the divider but it wont go higher then 3.211 and stay stable. I dunt want to do a vmod because i want to keep it simple. I think i maxed it out the oc all i can do is get a better processer.
