Waiting for my maze 4 right now but what do you guys think of this setup?
775 TDX Block
77 Bonneville Heatercore w/ Dual DD Shroud 2x120mm Masscool 96 cfm
Hydor L35
DD Maze 4
Clear DD Res.
Hoping for 4.4 with this setup:)

pretty much cookie cutter, but everyone is going to recommend you replace res with t-line and get a stronger pump

T-Lines give slightly lower flow restrictions, plus eliminates issues with reservoirs cracking, leaking, etc... Not to mention they save you money.

As for the pump, most will suggest a 50Z or possibly a D5. Both have better specs and are more reliable than the L35.

The Pump will give you better flow which I bet would gain you around 2 to 5c (not certain?)

if you already have the pump then keep it. people like suggesting t-lines because it's cheap, but no one can blame you for wanting a resevoir. good luck with 4.4 :)
